Overview

The Indigenous Cultural Safety (ICS) team represents the Indigenous Health Program within Fraser Health, working very closely with First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities to support and enhance the health and wellness of Indigenous Peoples living within the lower mainland through various programs such as the Indigenous Self-Identification initiative.

During my internship, I had the opportunity to be a Digital Media Communication Specialist for the ICS team, assisting the ICS team as well as Fraser Health's corporate communication department with crafting various kinds of digital media such as designing various posters, newsletters thumbnails/banners, infographics, brand image and as well as filming videos to promote the Indigenous Cultural Safety team.
